Kancof received a major upgrade and facelift over the weekend
After too many years of sitting dormant and being neglected I finally got around to upgrading the backend and improving the aesthetics of Kancof. You will notice a few large changes and many subtle ones. A few minor features and items did not survive the transfer (KIA) such as the arictle authors, downloads, and weblinks. Well the downloads and weblinks were old and frankly probably would of been wiped out anyway. However, if you were the publisher of an article please let me know through email or PM so I can go in and correct it for you.
The forums for the most part survived the transfer and also received an upgrade and facelift. Unfortunatly, during the purging and cleansing of the hundreds of spam bot registrations a few innocent users were removed. Most of the posts from legitimate users that were removed remained in place and now show up as Guest. I'd have you email or PM me to have that corrected but unfortunatly you didn't receive this email. The registration and security of the site has been given a dose of steroids and many of you may have to request a new password as I believe those were also KIA during the transfer.
Thank you everyone who has supported kancof over the last 7 years, wow has it been that long? I am hoping that everyone receives this email (and actually reads it). Stop on back by and let us know how you are doing, catch up with old friends, laugh at the old posts, and submit some content! Currently on the front end only the admin account privaleges have been recreated (the forum ranks and privaleges are still intact from what I have tested so far) so if you were a publisher or editor for the front end content please let me know and I will reactivate your account. Of if you would like to become a publisher or editor let me know as well.
You will notice some google ad's now on the page, I hope that the google TOS don't take them away due to some of the content, if that is the case I may have to 'filter' some of the articles by placing them onto a members access only section. Please support kancof by visiting any of the sponsored links that may be of interest to you. I will have the kancof shop up and running soon once I design our new logo (again any submissions are more than welcome) Kancof has absored a hefty amount of my personal funds over the last few years just to keep it alive.
